ABOUT

Shaun Morgan Welgemoed, Dale Stewart and Dave Cohoe founded the band in 1999 in South Africa. At that time still under the name "Saron Gas" they released their first album "Fragile" in 2000.

The band went to the USA and Dave Cohoe left the formation for private reasons. The band changed their label and also the name, Seether was born.

Their first album "Disclaimer" reached gold status and the band took off with the song "Broken" and went platinum. The album "Disclaimer II" also went platinum. Their following albums went platinum and most of them were in the top spots of the US Billboard charts for a long time.
